Character Name: Styrbjörn Finnlaugursson

What can your character do for our ship? (Muscle, Maintenance, Triggerman, Comedic Act, etc.): Muscle / Intimidation
Character Equipment: A custom made suit of what appeared to be heavy armor, with a Talon mercenary company emblem, as well as a heavy two handed machine gun, which appears to have seen better days.
Moral Alignment: Neutral Good
Strengths: After years of weight lifting and training, he's grown fairly strong. OF course, his armor and heavy gun are useful as well.
Weaknesses: His heavy gear weighs him down quite a bit, causing him to be slow in any combat operation. Not only this, but he's quite the large target, causing him to be easily picked out from a crowd. A minor weakness is his thick Icelandic accent, making it a bit difficult to understand him at points.
Character Backstory a.ka. how or why are you here (One paragraph minimum, be creative!):
Styrbjörn was born on the frigid island known as Iceland, in the capital of the country, Reykjavik. His father made his money in the local strongman competitions, and his mother worked as a nurse. His father frequenting gyms and various weight lifting events, he made quite an impression on young Styrbjörn. Whenever away from school, he would spend time with his dad at the gym, seeing as Iceland wasn't exactly the most exciting area in the world. He became muscular at a younger age in his life, giving him a head start in general strength.
Passing through his school years, he'd become a nearly straight A student in the majority of his classes. This, combined with his athletic potential, landed him an easy scholarship into the University of Iceland. Taking course in engineering, he put his mental skills to work, though slowly he began to realize how dreadfully boring the subject as a whole was to him, as well as how boring the work might be. Thinking nothing of it, he continued on through college, his study of engineering moving on as he reached the potential for a degree. Though, after a few years into the college, he had decided that the college work was simply too boring and tedious for him. He dropped out of college, moving into an apartment after spending a few weeks with his parents.
Finding himself out of work, almost broke, with nothing to do but go to the gym with his father every so often, he began to look through applications for jobs. However, browsing through the Extranet, he would catch wind of various criminal and mercenary organizations making moves across the galaxy. At first condemning this work, the idea of an action filled life as a sellsword slowly became more and more attractive to him. He found himself in a difficult situation: stay unemployed nad miserable with a boring job, or go into mercenary work? He eventually caved in and chose the latter, finding himself on a shuttle to Omega.
He stuck out like a sore thumb in the generally filthy station, though he still had his mind stuck to mercenary work. He eventually, after getting an apartment by squatting in the building, made his way to the Talon mercenary recruiting offices. Seeing that tall and all around strong man, they knew not to turn him down. Not long after being accepted into the group, he was given his own personal suit of heavy armor, and a rough looking heavy, two handed machine gun. Not long after, he would have been assigned to his first job aboard a smuggling ship, to assist with their red sand operation.
