This thread is designed to keep the community informed of actions that the staff team are taking. Actions such as; warnings, bans, content updates, policy and rule changes, IC and OOC promotions/demotions, character deaths, lore changes, NPC approval, and event approval should be posted here.

I ask that the mods who performed the actions provide supplemental evidence to the best of their ability. Logs, screenshots, wiki entries--anything that justifies the actions being taken.

The thread is designed for announcement summaries of staff actions. There's no need for huge paragraphs if information, and it is not the appropriate thread to dispute punishments. Please do not post here unless you are on the staff team.

Giving user Sail a two-day suspension on the server for conspiring to meta between their characters and disrespecting the admin team.

Of course there are parameters and rules its a private server. When you go against and asspull equipment that you didn't apply for and conspire to meta between your owned characters. Of course Im going to take action, I will NOT wait until you act and I have to clean up the mess that follows. This is an idea and game that I'm letting people be a part of on my dime. There's a difference between getting pushed and jumping infront of the bus yourself. Take your suspension and stop victimizing yourself. Should've kept this on your tumblr, our your weebly. I brought this decision to vote with all the other active staff (Besides filter because I didnt know he was online.) the vote was unanimous.

The whole "victimizing" yourself aspect, what is it? Where did it come from? Because quite frankly, I am not one to play victim. I felt like writing something, and I shared it on my forum signature. It is not me playing victim, it is me expressing mysef - to which, I cannot see myself at fault for.

I will state what I said to you when you pulled me out of a RP to talk of the asspull; I did not use it to harass other players, I used it to help make an IC metaphor. It was not clear to me, nor was it in the application, that I cannot use different weapons and/or had to ask for it. I do not see how I can be at fault for it when it is not described in the format, nor am I familiar with any roleplaying community I've been part of in the past that asked for equipment as part of the application process. I fail to see how that can contribute to my ban.

Yes, I "conspired" but did not perform. As I had admitted in my initial post, I made a mistake. Do I believe, as a veteran serious roleplayer, that this ban was justified? Now, let me make something clear - I know when I am at fault, hence I admit to my mistake (though it did not harass anyone). A warning I would understand, and a talking to - considering the whole "disrespecting staff," aspect of the ban as well. I do strongly believe that this is a misunderstanding. Whether you want to try to justify it, is solely up to you.

Expressing beliefs, especially when such beliefs are expressed in a broad way that does not point to this community, is not "victimizing." To play victim, you automatically assume that all actions taken against you are to destroy. As I have in previous communities, I analyze the evidence against me - and look for both reasons for the ban to be justified and not. If I have evidence or reason to assume punishments against me were unjust and/or an abuse of power, I will maturely work against it.

I do know what me "playing victim" comes from a specific individual, whom is ironically a member of staff in this community as he was in a community whose manager attempted to falsely ban me twice. I do suggest that you do not assume the words of others to be true, especially when you barely know my part in the history he is sharing with you.

Sail, this is the second time you've posted here even though it clearly states not to do so in the OP. Please create a separate topic to discuss this, or PM Legion or any other staff member directly. Your arguments do no good being posted here.

Xxyzizy
A politician on Kahje, Xxyzizy, despite his foreign as hell name, is quite predictable for a career politician. Holding an array of connections on Kahje’s political network, he frequently uses grey-market trading to secure bribes or gifts to keep his comfortable job intact. Although blackmail seems like it would be an easy option with him, having access to drell assassins makes it notably more difficult than at first glance. Not seeing his activities as being terribly illegal, he often tries to keep contact with the crew brief, and keep himself distanced from the details of the job. Thankfully, his contracts almost always involve none or minimal violence, making them low-risk, medium-reward in a sense. Being a religious hanar however, he will occasionally ask the Geisha’s crew to recover or steal small prothean artifacts out in the terminus.

‘Tevento’
Tevento runs a small organization out of Omega, believed to be a front for hegemony sponsored terrorist activities. Originating from Khar’shan, Tevento was born into the upper castes of batarian society. Enjoying a padded military career, Tevento jumped through special forces training, before finding himself suddenly on a career change. Although officially, he had left the military and started up a mildly successful chain of convenience stores on omega, it is strongly believed that this is merely a continuation of his special forces career, the business being a money and operations front for covert hegemony activities.
His personality is at first appearance a friendly one, highly welcoming to all but humans, unless he feels the need to deceive them. Despite having the hegemony sponsored view on slavery, he has no harsh feelings to any galactic species, save for humans of course. However, he will often go out of his way to assist species without a major political presence in citadel space, or those that have no major dealings in it. His odd mixture of gentlemanly high class courtesy will prove to make for a difficult contrast to his lines of work and morals for the crew. His jobs often entail drug smuggling, shakedowns, and on occasion, discrete transport of high-profile slaves- with generous payout for the latter.
