Rp Experience: Around five years of garry's mod experience, and four of those years dedicated to serious roleplay on a multitude of Clockwork and NS servers. Also had many experiences as server staff.
How did you stumble upon our server?: I have a friend who invited me called Pedagogue Milky.
Tell me a cool Mass Effect Fact: 'I sound seven percent more like Commander Shephard than any other bootleg VI copy.'
Just kidding, did you know that the Turian homeworld, Palaven, has a metal-poor core that means it has a weak magnetic field, allowing increased solar radiation within its atmosphere.Turians developed a lightly toned, reflecting metallic exoskeleton that reduces radiation intake.
Character Name: Sius Victolus
Character Race: Turian
Why did you choose this race?: Ever since the first game, I've wanted to play as a Turian because of their interesting lore and biology. Garrus was one of my favourite characters, and now I have to chance to 'play mass effect' as one of his race. I want to have a go with some gritty and more mature RP in the sense of dialogue and humour that I think will come with a Turian.
Age:31
What can your character do for our ship? (Muscle, Maintenance, Triggerman, Comedic Act, etc.): Sius has military experience, and would primarily be suited for muscle, as he is experienced with firearms and as a guard himself.
Character Equipment:
M-15 Vindicator(stolen from his guard post)
light onyx armour(Turian)
tattoo kit
set of civilian clothes.
Moral Alignment: Lawful Evil.
Strengths:
Firearm and combat experience: onboard ships in the Turian fleet he not only trained but saw live combat during his time of service.
He can handle an abundance of alcohol and other intoxicants: the Turian race is known for its heavyweight drinkers, and Sius is no exception; he does his fair share of merry-making.
He has basic first aid training: this was assumed through training in the marine corps.
He also knows his way around most standard ships in the Turian navy: he can figure his way around Turian grade starships, having served upon things like corvettes to dreadnoughts.
Weaknesses:
He is prone to fits when consuming levo-amino based foods: he reacts strongly to things that aren't dextro-amino.
He is very sanguine: his temper changes constantly.
Hobbies: he enjoys committing to less reputable activies in his spare time.
War scars: He has a faint scar running down the left side of his jaw, a wound he picked up in the battle for the citadel. It is also a topic of verbal abuse frequently.
Hereditary condition: He has slight amblyopia in his left eye that causes his vision to be slightly blurred through that eye. However he aims with his right eye.
Character Backstory: Sius was born on Palaven in 2152 into a military family. His father had been a lifelong member of the Turian armed forces and had fought against the human systems alliance during the relay 314 incident. His father had died when the ship he was serving on was destroyed in the initial counter-attack by the alliance, and was brought up by his mother and sister. At the age of 15, he joined the Turian military, as is the required conscription age, and began his rigorous training. His area of success was with handling firearms and fitness. He was assigned to the Turian 43rd Marine division after his training had finished, a proud and reputable division. He spent many years rising the the lower ranks, before showing insubordination to a higher ranking officer who was younger than him, and being discharged from active service.
Too ashamed to return to his family on Palaven, who held the military in a gaze of pride and awe, he turned instead to the citadel. Never before had he come across such a haze of race, Palaven being the only home he knew. One minute a group of Batarian dockworkers would be in front of him, soon to be replaced by Turian and Asari C-sec officers. In a relaxed and confused ebb, he let the flow of the crowd take him to the lower presidium, and from there he followed wherever the crowd seemed largest. Finally, he came across the darker underbelly of the citadel. On Palaven, law and order presided over everything else, and this new lavish lifestyle held him in awe. He immediately gave into the wildest desires he could, tasting his first whore and gambling his first game. Quickly, his money was pissed away into the cesspit of the Citadel, and he was in desperate need of a job. To him, it was only logical; based on his skill set, that he would become a mercenary in his new home, especially based on what his newfound gambling buddies gossiped about. This way, he continued to practice experience with firearms and socially as he did many jobs such as bouncing to collecting debts. When the geth attacked the citadel under the command of Saren, he fought alongside citadel militias out of a surprising mix of desperation and rage that his new home was being taken away from him, after how hard he had worked. He lost many friends that day, and when he witnessed turian vessels fighting Sovereign, he was gripped by grief and regret. After Sovereign had been destroyed and the reaper threat had seemingly ended, Sius felt lost and alone, the new friends he had made on the citadel had mainly been killed or departed themselves. He decided to board the next cargo ship off the citadel, not really planning where he will end up, relying on the decent sum of credits he had saved during his time spent on the citadel.
Originally, Sius had ended up on Omega due to his mercenary links offering him work. However, he found that the hollowed asteroid was too hectic and chaotic in comparison to the relatively peaceful citadel, and decided to leave there too with a couple of friends whom he had reunited with, beginning to wander in space, hopping from cargo ship to cargo ship. Soon enough, after conflict in space, he found himself in Oasis Station, acting as a small time guard for a fuel depot there. Not really seeing much action, he took to gambling, whoring, drinking and other activities that were becoming increasingly menial to him. After a cards game with fairly large odds against some mercenaries from the Eclipse organisation, Sius found himself in a heated argument since he won the game with the prize of a varren. Outnumbered and outgunned, Sius slipped away and fled, and is now stowed away aboard the Geisha, which he found docked at Oasis station.
