| Steam Name: bluefire31 Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:42372377 Steam Profile Link: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198045010483/ Rp Experience: 6 years fam How'd you stumble upon our server: wowza man lookit this COOOOOL new mass effect server!!!! all my friends are there!!!!1!! Tell me a cool Mass Effect Fact: A krogans hump stores water and food, sorta like a camel. ~ Character Name: Jelali Tynvi Character Race: Drell Why did you choose this race?: I find their slips in memory to make for an interesting story element, along with how they're covered in scales and don't get me started on how wonderful their voices are! Age: 26 What can your character do for our ship: Dancer, entertainer, mobile distraction, generally brings a good time! Character Equipment:
- Several piercings dotting her hood, nose, and lip
- One (1) biotic implant of the L3 variety
- Two (2) cybernetic implants; One in the eyes, one in the ears (Both failing due to degradation)
- One suit of skintight (light) armor, complete with a helmet; Modified to carry a tactical cloak (CANNOT RUN WHILE BIOTIC IMPLANTS RUN ARE IN USE)
- One (1) traditional drell dancer's outfit
- One (1) M4-Shuriken with two modifications; Power Magnifier IV, ultralight materials III
- Several (~) blades/needles that are affixed to her armor to inject posions
- Two (2) different kinds of posion; Painful (4 vials) and hallucinagetic (8 vials)
Moral Alignment: Chaotic good Strengths: Upbeat attitude - It takes a lot to bring Jelali off her cloud of happiness, and takes it as a personal offense if someone doesn't seem to be having a good time all the time. Biotic aptitude - What the lacks in raw power she makes up for in specialization, focused on mobility, lingering damaging fields, and poison she can serve as a wonderful distraction and support combination. Dancer - While not something many would consider a strength, years of dancing and twirling away nights lead her to be extremely lithe, flexible, and quick. It's something to see when a drell can pull a full split and go into a handstand from it, you know! Taste/Smell/Touch - Due to being down two sense, her other three moved to pick up the slack. This gave her uncanny abilities, though none of it superdrellian. Weaknesses: Blind/deaf - As a mingling of defects from drug abuse and tumors in her eyes and ears, Jelali is partially deaf and blind. She is only able to hear if she truly focuses and her eyes interpret the world through a muddy, water like filter. Strength - Fast, check, flexible, double check, biotic, triple, sneaky, quad-- Strong? Not at all. Assault rifles test her strength, but shotguns and sniper rifles are out of her league. Armor heavier than the lightest changes are too much, and would result in her being weighed down. Flashbacks - As it is with most drell, a reminder of a particularly terrible or wonderful time. Unlike many, if standing still and quiet no sound will come from her, if speaking she will launch into the memory without any warning. If someone was smart enough, she would be helpless as they lead her into memory after memory. Character Backstory a.ka. how or why are you here: - backstory!:
Years working under a difficult regime hones one's reflexes and strengths. For the young drell, her mobility and affinity for lingering fields led her to be a protector of a strange sort. Rather than take the bullet for them, she would dance through the battlefield, vanishing from sight and teleporting, killing or throwing them through the air or poison them up close.
She lived by the phrase 'death by a thousand cuts'.
She worked diligently under the compact, never once did a charge die under her care, but many walked away injured. Some could have been avoided entirely if not for a shortcoming of her own here or there. Some of them Jelali blamed herself for, but along the way she grew almost. . . restless of the work. It was challenging yes, it was enough to keep her blood flowing and it never ceased to make the drell excited or enthralled. Three things captured her excitement; Her own biotics, dancing or cooking. Biotics never saw a day or two without being employed, but dancing had little time in her work life, and cooking? She never had a chance to enjoy good food when her charges were constant.
Eventually, due to failing cybernetics and her own request, the hanar allowed her a leave of absence to explore the galaxy. First around her home of Kahje, then off to Illium, then to lawless Omega. Through it all unforgettable times were made, nights spent dancing away the cares of the world, days spent with people whom she learned cooking recipes from, friends who shared bunks with her, and various people who shared more than their share of body heat with her in a dark hall.
Her time on Omega was brought to a pause, when she was planning on finding a way off of the station she met with a young man, who introduced himself as Brain or, as he preferred, Joker. Joker was mid-sprint from three eclipse mercenaries, and with her help, all three were dead within a minute.
Jelali helped the poor man out of his problem, and in turn, he was patient with her lack of sense. He helped her maneuver streets that were otherwise sealed off to her and made sure she heard everything the first time through. In turn, she watched for him, made sure the young man had fun now and then, and, as a failsafe, told him to get something done so he could react quicker in combat. Now she travels with him running from the eclipse best they can. . .
. . . or so they hope.
- OOC references!:
Her mother was a biotic addict to red sand, gave birth to twins [Jel and a boy]. Laced food/forced red sand into them for stronger biotics at the cost of newly implanted cybernetics.
Jel is a vanguard focused on the mobility aspect
Poison mentions are like a cabal vanguards powers/most lingering fields in ME3.
