Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:41728932
Steam Profile Link: http://steamcommunity.com/id/NamesFrankWest/
Age: 18
Rp Experience: 4-5 years. Been on just about every iteration of MERP you could think of. Yeah. You probably know what character is being made if you know me.
How did you stumble upon our server?: Humpy and Arglack.
Tell me a cool Mass Effect Fact: If you aren't a complete dick to Conrad Verner in all 3 games, find a certain amount of Asari writings in ME1, help Gavin Hossle in ME1, and get the Elkoss Licence, Shepard's proclaimed super-fan will reveal he's written a doctoral on xenotechnology and dark energy integration. With all these components it gives the player character an awesome War Asset to be added.
Character Name: Chris Valentine
Character Race: Human.
Why did you choose this race?: I dunno, I've always been drawn to humans or Turians.
Age: 29
What can your character do for our ship?: Comedic Act, Basic Maintenance, Triggerman, Chef.
Character Equipment: EUCC Modified Blood Dragon Armor, Phaseton /OR/ Geth Pulse Rifle. (It's a desperate push, but it's the weapon I mainly used during my Chris playthrough during all 3 games lol.) , M3-Predator.
Moral Alignment: Lawful Good.
Strengths: Skilled Sentinel. Decent with electronics and technology. Semi-decent with Biotics, prefers technology. Can decently cook human food.
Weaknesses: Red Sand addiction. Crippling need to help others in danger, regardless of the peril. Crippling need to make /everyone/ like him. Big mouth. Partially deaf in left ear due to arena accident.
Character Backstory a.ka. how or why are you here (One paragraph minimum, be creative!): Christopher 'Chris' Valentine was born in the year 2154 in the city of Edmonton, Canada. Born to two lackluster pencil-pushing parents, Chris' childhood was anything but abnormal. He was your average run of the mill kid who did decently in school, rarely ever got into trouble, and spoke up whenever he needed to. The one abnormal thing about Chris' life however was his obsession with the EUCC or the Earth Urban Combat Championship. Every Sunday night Chris would stay up for hours on end to watch each match his team played in, cheering them on from the confines of his bedroom, buying any and /every/ piece of merchandise they would produce. It was at the early age of 10 that the boy decided he wanted to become one of them.
He began training in highschool, pushing himself to be the best possible athlete he could be. Chris joined the varsity football team his Sophomore year, becoming a household name in his hometown. His grades fluctuated due to his practice and training sessions, but Chris prevailed with a steady 75-78 average all four years of highschool. Near the end of his Senior Year Chris was approached by an EUCC representative with the chance to attend their school full-ride. Chris of course accepted, graduated, and began to attend the EUCC Academy outside of the Sol System.
Once at the academy, Chris struggled to keep up with his peers, often falling behind and having to redo a lot of practice courses. Chris was eventually given an ultimatum: shape up, or face academic expulsion from the academy. After getting /so/ close to obtaining his dream he wasn't about lie down and quit now. So. He trained, harder than ever before, absolutely pushing his body to its physical limits, often resulting in many injuries. In the end however, Chris made the cut and was given a choice of two teams to join. The Rhode Island Knights or The Edmonton Blood Dragons. Chris made the obvious choice, and went to go play for his hometown.
Chris' career with the Blood Dragons wasn't anything special. While he wasn't the best player on the team, he could most certainly hold his own, and become a /planet-wide/ name as opposed to a household one. The rookie's mediocrity would prove to be his downfall as the opposing teams held nothing back. Chris was Sentinel, which allowed him to rely on both Biotic and Tech-Powers in the heat of combat. While Chris' Tech-Powers were up to standard, his biotics were underwhelming to say the least. His Warps could barely distort barriers, and he struggled to Throw the lightest of foes. This caused him to become a bit hated by his fellow teammates, for the rookie was the cause of many lost matches. Chris needed a boost, and a big one. What was a quick and easy way to boost ones Biotics? Red Sand. While Chris was often praised as the "good egg" in his family, this was the one time he decided to shed his good-boy exterior. Within the next few months Chris' temporary Biotic boosts during matches helped the Dragons win on so many occasions, causing his teammates' scorn to turn to respect and praise.
This however didn't last long due to the fact that pictures of Chris getting sand-blasted leaked onto the Extra-Net, exposing him for the addict that he was. The EUCC had strict guidelines. No performance enhancing substances were to be used. So. He was kicked off of the Dragons and disgraced. A heartbroken Valentine stole his famed suit from the Dragons and took off from the Sol System leaving his friends, family, and loved ones behind. The year is 2183. Chris sits in a rundown bar in Hiromi City, snorting a quick line of Red-Sand. Hiromi City. Run by Yoshida Syndicate whom were massive movers of Red Sand. This of course caught Chris' attention who soon sought out to be employed somehow, anyway, just to get a fix of Red Sand. Of course looking for the Yoshida Syndicate doesn't always end pretty, as is the case with most criminal enterprises. Instead of him finding them, Chris was conacted via Extra-Net.
Someone in the Corporation recognized Chris as the former EUCC player, and figured he would be an excellent hired hand. With nowhere else left to turn, an addiction to fuel, and time to kill. Chris accepted. In response he only got two words back, two singular words with some coordinates.
The Geisha.
