Character Backstory a.ka. how or why are you here (One paragraph minimum, be creative!):
Abelle grew up in the French countryside on Earth where she was raised by her father along with several siblings. From a young age, Abelle showed a knack for picking up languages of any variety that could physically be spoken by humans and many she could only understand. She was taught basic survival skills and first aid by her father early in life and despite her Father's wishes, she sought out a higher education in culinary arts. After receiving her degree she made the move from Earth to Elysium and opened up a small bakery about two years before the Blitz. During the Blitz, she worked with Alliance troops in helping wounded and refugees until she was badly wounded while helping medical staff evacuate wounded.
During the seven years between the Blitz and the Battle of the Citadel Abelle worked hard to try and secure resources for the rebuilding on Elysium while also working towards a degree in psychology, the former being a goal which brought her to the Citadel during the Reaper backed Geth attack. During the attack she was crippled by an incendiary round to the thigh, resulting in irreparable damage to the muscle. After that, she started looking for another, more permanent line of work in which she could make use of her myriad of skills.
