Tell me a cool Mass Effect Fact: The Thanix Magnetic-Hydrodynamic Weapon is a turian designed ship weapon designed and created using what technology they recovered from Sovereign after the original attack on the citadel and harnesses a massive element zero core powering an electromagnetic field suspending a liquid iron-uranium-tungsten alloy that shape into armor-piercing projectiles when fired... Yes, that is the weapon upgrade you need in ME2 to actually help survive the collectors.

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Strengths: Fast hands/Sleight of hand, Pretty good shot with a pistol, loves hats.
Weaknesses: Terrible jokes, very blunt, has the single worst plans ever.
Character Backstory a.ka. how or why are you here: Finn was born on the planet of Amaterasu to a relatively normal family. His mother was an office worker and his father was unemployed, leaving his mother to be the breadwinner of the family. His father always stood by the fact he injured his back and took credits from the government for his supposed injury every month. And with his mother always working to try keep the family afloat, and his father generally absent from his life, Finn took to other means of entertainment. Various hobbies and clubs to keep him from being in an empty and quiet house all day. Of course, as he got older this translated into falling into the wrong crowd. Ths is where he learned a lot of his tricks and skills. He learned how to fight and how to steal, getting a little better after every time he was caught... which was a surprising amount. Finn even began to run his own cons, swindling on the streets. This is where he picked up a lot of his sleight of hand, learning how to pickpocket, make quick movements, trick people with cards and rigged games. As Finn reached his late teens, his options became clear, leave, join the Alliance or get arrested. He never saw himself as much of a military GI Joe, and he never liked the idea of four walls and bars, so the option made itself for him. He packed up everything he owned and hopped on the nearest freight ship. He stowed away and managed to get himself all the way across the galaxy, eventually reaching the renowned system of thieves, the Terminus system. Here, it was very easy to fall into worse crowds than he was used to, but he wasn't going to be swallowed up and spat out by this place, he refused to be. He ended up joining a small merc band for a job. When the job was done, he was offered a position with their ranks. He learned how to fight even further, more than simple street fighting. Now he learned how to shoot and how to kill. His skills seemed to sharpen as time went on. Of course, on the side he still swindled, but this time at much higher stakes. A suspected cheat or thief would often be shot and killed rather than just accused and chased off. This means he either got good or died trying, and that's exactly what he did... Got good, that is.
His quickdraw and keen little mind for conning and swindling in a market of high demand of course meant more work for him within this little merc band. Sadly, all good things come to an end. Unfortunately, the merc bands end was one job gone wrong. Finn and a few others managed to escape with their lives, but he always assumed it was a set up. From then on, he kept to himself for work mostly. More dangerous, but more reliable.
He eventually happened upon Hiromi city. A nice little den for the shady to say the least. He made the biggest mistake you could make in Hiromi city, trying to steal from the Yoshida syndicate. Rather than punish his insolent little attempt, he gave his ever-charming smile and managed to talk his way into their service, and thus was given work aboard the Geisha, working with a crew of people once again.
