Character Backstory a.ka. how or why are you here:
Born on Palaven, Dexidia was born and raised as a regular Turian on the home planet of her race. Her upbringing was standard but healthy, preparing her for the conscription that she would no doubt undertake when she was of suitable age. At the time when Dexidia reached the age of fifteen, like most if not all of her race, Dexidia was sent to boot camp to begin her training to serve her mandatory service in the Turian military. Learning the skills she needed to serve over the year of training that she had received, Dexidia had become specialized with heavy weapons; particularly the ML-77 Missile Launcher in order to engage both air and ground armored targets, making her a threat to more than just regular infantry. She would be assigned to a field unit and began her service within the ranks of the Turian 52nd Light Infantry; tasked with patrolling Citadel Controlled Space and dealing with threats to not only Palaven and Turian territory but to the colonies of the other Council races.
She'd serve valiant over eleven years before resigning to find a more independent lifestyle to suit her desires, having fulfilled her service to the Hierarchy with both honor and distinction. She'd spend a year swapping from job to job to find something that she both enjoyed and enabled her to be independent yet still enabled her to follow her beliefs and help those in need or unable to fend for themselves.
