Wave 27 a radical group of hacktivist that spawn the Milky Way. Working in the shadows hacking government accounts, social media and secure private terminals to expose scandals and release the truth.
Most recently Wave 27 has released the confidential security footage of the "Geth Ship" that attacked the citadel. Claiming that the council is covering up what really happened as they gather up the wreckage of the ship known as Sovereign.

While multiple members of wave 27 have been arrested, no figurehead or leader of the organization has ever been identified. The hacker collective issues the anonymity of the extranet, allowing access to anyone given the password to their unregulated message boards.

Wave 27 itself has become a trend in popular culture. Their positive message of government clarity and peace is one that many civilians deem reasonable. Hats, T-shirts and other apparel sporting the wave 27 logo can be found at clothing kiosks around the galaxy.
